Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2025

Introduction

Inner Works ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how the MyZettel app ("the App" or "the Service") handles your information. In short, we do not collect or share any personal data from your use of the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that no personal information is being collected by us and you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from you when you use the App. You are not required to create an account or provide any personal details to use MyZettel. For example:

Because we do not collect any of your personal data, we also do not sell or share any personal data with third parties.

Data Storage and Apple Services

All notes or data you create within the App are stored locally on your device. If you choose to enable cloud synchronization (available with the Plus subscription), your data will be stored in your own Apple iCloud account via Apple’s iCloud service. This means your notes and content may be transmitted to and stored on Apple’s servers associated with your Apple ID. We do not have access to any data stored in your iCloud account. Your data remains under your control through Apple’s ecosystem and is subject to Apple’s privacy and security policies. We rely on Apple’s secure infrastructure to safeguard your synced data. However, we cannot guarantee or be responsible for the security of Apple’s systems or any breaches that may occur on Apple’s side.

Similarly, if you make a purchase (such as subscribing to the Plus plan), the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive any of your payment information. Any financial data (like your credit card or billing details) is handled by Apple and not shared with us.

Third-Party Tools and Services

We do not use any third-party advertising or social media plug-ins within the App. However, we may integrate certain third-party tools strictly to improve the App’s functionality or user experience:

No Data Sharing or Selling

Since we do not collect personal information, we do not share, sell, or disclose your personal data to any third parties. We have nothing to sell or disclose. Your data (the notes you create) is stored on your own devices and iCloud, and is never transmitted to us. If in the future we ever need to collect certain information to provide a new feature, we will update this Privacy Policy and, if required by law, seek your consent before collecting such information.

Children’s Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. In fact, as noted, we do not collect personal data from any users. If you are under 13, please do not use the feedback features of the App or provide any information. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information (for example, by sending us a direct email with their details), we will delete such information immediately. Parents or guardians with concerns can contact us as described below.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective once we post the revised policy (with a new "Last updated" date) within the App or on our website. We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy at any time. If we make material changes to how we handle personal data, we may provide a notice in the App. However, since we currently do not collect personal data, changes will likely pertain to future features or services. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated policy.

Contact Us

If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at myzettel@innerworks.one. Since we do not collect data, our ability to assist with certain requests (such as accessing or deleting data) is limited, but we will do our best to address your concerns.
